How to organize a beach wedding

Many future brides and grooms dream of having their weddings with the beach as their backdrop. Beach weddings are considered romantic and memorable, so it is no surprise why many couples choose to hold arguably the most important day of their lives in a beach setting. Beach weddings can also be less costly especially when done correctly. Couples should carefully plan their beach weddings not only to save some bucks but more importantly to make their wedding lovely and unforgettable. There are some tips that should come in handy for those wanting to organize a beach wedding.

Set A Budget

Like in any other undertaking, organizing a beach wedding rests on the budget that the couple is willing to allocate for their nuptials. The budget will determine the details of the beach wedding such as the number of invited guests, place, decorations, and meals.  It is not uncommon for couples to hire a professional wedding planner who can help in the entire wedding preparation. A wedding planner will usually know how much money it takes to stage a beach wedding that meets all of your preferences and budget.

Identify A Location

A wedding planner can also help a couple that is searching for the most appropriate site for their wedding, although most couples often have an idea where they want their wedding to be held at. Couples who don’t have any idea where to hold their wedding can go to the Internet and find nearby beaches and options. For couples with a limited budget, a beach resort may be the place for them to hold a wedding; they can contact the owners of a resort and find out if they can rent their beachfront for a price that meets their budgetary plan.

The budget isn’t the only consideration in choosing the place. Couples also need to consider other factors like accessibility of the place, especially for the wedding entourage and guests. Things like how the guests will arrive and depart from the location are important points to consider when choosing a beach to get married on, no matter if they will drive their own car, hire transportation or walk! Also look into accommodation – if you have the wedding reception near the beach too, your guests may want to stay the night, in which case you will need suitable options to be available.

Set The Time

The most obvious choice of time for a beach wedding is before sunset. Not only is it considered the most romantic time of the day it is also the most practical because at this time the temperature is low, and most beaches should have been cleared by other guests. It also sets up for an ideal reception in the evening. However, couples may still talk with their wedding planners about the time of their wedding ceremony, like doing it early in the morning and prepare a nice lunch reception for later on. When deciding the time for the ceremony, it would be good to bear in mind the season of the year as you have to consider that some beaches could get very cold and windy, or else they could be extremely hot and humid during certain seasons – this will definitely be a factor in deciding the date of your wedding ceremony.

Decide on the decorations

What makes the beach a less expensive choice for a wedding ceremony location is that it does not require a lot of decorations unlike churches or gardens, even though gardens available for hire for wedding ceremonies are almost always sitting pretty for the occasion. A beautiful, white sand beach is a great venue for a wedding ceremony, requiring little decorations and thus less cost for organizers. Nevertheless extra flowers decorations are not too much for the event. It is a common practice to dress up the walkway with flower petals. Couples can also do away with chairs or benches and instead have their guests stand up during the ceremony, especially for a small sized crowd to make up a more intimate setting.

Organizing a beach wedding should be a hassle-free as long as couples devote a significant time to planning and preparing for the ceremony. By doing so, the couple will be sure not to miss a thing when organizing their wedding with great emotion and passion - the result will be just great!
